Even after the acne has been treated it can leave behind scars and uneven skin tone.
We have the experience to be able to offer you the best skin care solutions, leaving your skin glowing and flawless.
What is acne?
Acne vulgaris is a common skin condition characterised by spots called blackheads, whiteheads and pustules which can appear on the face, back and chest. Although harmless they can cause much distress and in some cases leave scars called pick-axe scars which look like tiny indentations in the skin.
Acne usually starts in puberty and tends to resolve by the early twenties. However, in some people, it can persist throughout their 30’s and even 40’s. Indeed some people who have never had spots and pimples in their youth may develop them in adulthood. It has been noted in individuals that have a lot of stress in their lives.
What causes acne?
People who get acne are sensitive to a hormone called testosterone, which is present in both men and women. This causes their sebaceous glands to produce too much oil. In addition, the dead skin cells lining the pores do not shed properly and clog up the follicles. The build-up of oil within the follicle creates an ideal environment for the acne bacteria (P-acnes) that lives on the surface of the skin to multiply. This triggers inflammation and the formation of spots.
Acne is often hereditary but can also be a symptom of a hormone imbalance caused by polycystic ovarian syndrome, stress or a poor diet.
What treatments are available?
A patch test is required 7 days prior to a full treatment; this costs £45.00 and will be redeemed against your 1st treatment.
We only stock professional skincare products that work. What this means for you is rapid and dramatic skin rejuvenation that high street brands simply can’t deliver.
To help us determine your skin type and create a programme that’s right for you, we invite you for a Skin Healthcheck. Our Skin Healthchecks are without obligation and a treatment regime will be tailored to suit your needs.
All Skin Consults are carried out by Dr Pradnya.

We use Genuine dermaroller Skin Needling dermarollers to help restore a healthy, flawless and youthful appearance to the skin.
As with all our treatments, we offer a free 20 minute consultation to discuss your needs and to go into detail about the procedure prior to booking you in for treatment. Our dermaroller treatments are only provided by our medical doctor.
Some people are anxious that the dermaroller needling will cause pain. We numb the area with local anaesthetic for up to 20 minutes prior to treatment, ensuring that you have a relatively pain free experience. We can provide you with refreshments during this time, or you can simply relax in our treatment room.
We use 3 intensive serums during the treatment, and if needed, we also apply a soothing, calming mask. You need to allow 2 hours for each treatment.
Skin needling works through two modes of action
The needles penetrate through the skin to provide micro-channels to maximise the absorption of the topically applied skincare product. The micro-channels induce independent stimulation of new collagen and elastin synthesis, resulting from the skin’s natural healing response. Ultimately, skin strength, structure and resilience.
Similar results to Laser resurfacing, Fraxel and chemical peels with a broad range of advantages and benefits:
- Suitable for all skin types
- Does not induce skin sensitivity to UV light
- Personal models are painless and can be used at home.
- Does not cause skin damage (no ablation/removal of the epidermis)
- Can be used on the face, neck, décolleté and any other parts of the body requiring treatment
- Can be used on thin skin formerly treated with chemical peels and laser
- Does not pose a risk of permanent skin discolouration
- Cost effective treatment alternative
- Short or no healing time
- Easy and safe to use
We only use genuine titanium dermaroller
The Genuine titanium Dermaroller is the only skin needling device comprised of precision engineered titanium needles that deliver the most pain-free treatment experience from the very first use to the very last.
Both the Titanium Dermaroller and Titanium Dermastamp can be re-used for up to six months making it an extremely cost-effective alternative to many cosmetic treatments.

The Genuine Dermaroller is a multipurpose device used for the treatment of various skin conditions such as wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, cellulite and stretch marks. It has a cylindrical barrel with precision engineered titanium microneedles which penetrate the top layers of skin without causing damage or bleeding.
